Re: how do i remove my fan clutch???? They do let the removal tool at Early that you can rent. That said, IT's kind of cunning to chassis dead how to use the tool around. Basically, in that location are 4 bolts that declare the pulley onto the fan clutch. You have to loosen those four bolts just enough so you can get the big wrench in the remotion tool 'tween them and the flange along the H2O pump. So put a wrench on the oversize en in front and use the rented tool to keep the pulley from spinning and tease the monumental nut in front. It is reverse thread. __________________ 2000 Gerald R. I just replaced my water pump. IT takes persistence. I unbroken cracking my knuckles along it for an hour, information technology finally just came loose one time. Stick a longish screwdriver finished the piss ticker to lock information technology up, then use a identical long wrench or a wrench and a shriek to work it off.
